Rebecca has 18 years’ experience as a Development and Strategic Planner working on projects across NZ and in Australia. She brings her extensive planning and policy skills to Veros as the Principal Planner.
She has held executive positions in local government planning and has wide ranging experience as a planning consultant in private practice. Working closely with the corporate sector and in government, Rebecca has been involved in the delivery of commercial, retail, industrial, residential, educational, recreational, tourism and infrastructure projects. More recently, Rebecca has worked across a range of government city transformation projects and strategies.
Rebecca has expertise in urban strategy, the development and review of planning policy, spatial planning and the preparation and management of resource consent applications for development. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and consultation, and experience in presenting to Council hearings and the Environment Court.
Rebecca enjoys finding solutions to sometimes complex resource management challenges to enable projects to be delivered. Her understanding of the environmental regulatory landscape, attention to project outcomes, and collaborative approach results in successful outcomes.
