Veros were appointed to go to the market through a competitive process to find HEB new premises for their Tauranga Operations. For our Site ID team this included:
- Negotiating commercial terms with shortlisted parties.
- Preparing brief / specification to ensure landlord achieved the client’s objectives
- Coordinating the lease to mitigate cost escalation and achieve the client’s tenure objectives
- Integrating the clients’s design and layout requirements
With their premises no longer fit for purpose, HEB were looking for a new site and engaged Veros to ensure they would get the best deal, in the right location. The client provided our team with their design brief, which we took to market, receiving multiple responses. Implementing a thorough analysis, the team identified a preferred option and worked to establish commercial terms. This resulted in an agreement to Design and Build and we then represented HEB through the first round of design to ensure this was fit for HEB’s purpose.
Our team was able to take the worry away for the client and give them certainty that they would get the best deal in the best location.
The developer completed the building at the end of 2019 with HEB now open and operating from their new premises. The success of this project proves once again that the Veros Site ID process is robust and significantly beneficial to our client HEB and the developer.
