New Service Line: Land Acquisition and Compensation

Our Managing Director, Morgan Jones is thrilled to announce the addition of a new service line, Land Acquisition & Compensation, further expanding the company’s offering to clients. Now accredited LINZ agents, Veros provides specialist property negotiation, acquisition and disposal services for Crown and local authorities, infrastructure, rural, commercial, and residential developments.

“This is a fantastic way to start 2021, broadening our capabilities as we continue to grow and work across New Zealand delivering excellent results for our clients,” says Morgan.

Land Acquisition Compensation

Mike Beattie has led the charge with the addition of this service line. Mike joined the company last year, bringing with him decades of industry-leading experience as a property negotiator and advocate. As an accredited Crown Agent for property transactions, Mike is highly experienced with the Public Works Act, working for both landowners and acquiring authorities.

“What’s most important to us is ensuring full and fair compensation for our clients,” Mike says, adding “partnering with our experienced team and network of experts, we represent their best interests and take the worry away.”

If your property is affected by a public work, then you are likely entitled to full property compensation. In such an instance Veros can become your negotiators to ensure you receive everything to which you are entitled.

We are currently supporting landowners and working with NZTA on these projects:

  • SH30 Eastern Corridor, Rotorua
  • Ōtaki to north of Levin
  • Tauranga Northern Link
