What's important to us

Real impact, driven by values.

At Veros, what we believe shapes what we do — every day. Whether we’re leading a complex development or supporting our local mountain bike club, we care deeply about the places, people, and industries we’re part of.

What’s important to us goes beyond projects. It’s how we show up for our communities, our environment, and each other.

Community impact.

We love the places we live, work, and play — and feel privileged to call Aotearoa home. That’s why we support local initiatives that help communities come together, grow, and achieve shared goals.

Across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty, we’re proud to back grassroots sports, youth programmes, and special community events. Some of the organisations we support include:

  • The Otumoetai Football Club (OFC)
  • Tauranga Mountain Bike Club
  • New Zealand Men’s Water Polo team
  • Tauranga Boys’ College First XV Rugby
  • Karapiro Kayaking Club
  • Rotorua Mountain Bike Club

Health & safety.

The wellbeing of our people, partners, and the public is always front and centre. Veros has a strong track record in health and safety — and we’re committed to maintaining best-practice standards across everything we do.

We are committed to:

All Veros staff hold current Site Safe certification, and we prioritise ongoing training to strengthen risk awareness and site leadership.

Sustainable futures.

Forward-thinking and fresh solutions are in our DNA — and that includes our responsibility to people, places, and the planet.

Our sustainability strategy focuses on

  • Sustainable leadership:We want every Veros team member to lead sustainably. That’s why we have qualified Green Star and NABERSNZ practitioners across the business, and hold regular sustainability masterclasses.
  • Challenging the status quo:From paperless offices and e-scooters to carpooling and wellness initiatives, we’re constantly finding better ways to operate day-to-day.
  • Sustainable projects:Our focus is on enabling future-focused, low-impact developments for our clients. We explore viable, innovative solutions across the built environment — with our in-house Sustainable Working Group driving accountability.
  • Flying the flag: Veros is a proud member of the New Zealand Green Building Council and actively contributes to shaping more sustainable building practices across Aotearoa.

Leadership in spades.

We don’t just lead projects — we lead conversations. Many of our team members contribute to the wider property sector through advocacy, governance, and mentorship.

We’re proud to be involved with:

  • Property Council New Zealand
  • Urban Task Force Tauranga
  • Local Authorities Property Association (LAPA)
  • Chamber of Commerce
  • Industry working groups and community boards

At Veros, leadership isn’t a title — it’s a responsibility we carry into every relationship and every project.

What’s important to us shows up in how we lead, how we live, and how we deliver — every day.
