All businesses are in the property business, whether through leased premises or ownership of their own facilities and this year COVID has posed many challenges with lockdown and no-access to the business community. As a business owner and part of the local business community, Peter has volunteered his experience to support this group and to advocate for and champion the needs of local business.
Tauranga Chamber of Commerce serves to connect, support and champion businesses of all sizes and stages across the Bay of Plenty.
The focus of the organisation is businesses, people and achieving their goals.
They help build businesses in a number of ways – through events and opportunities, increasing brand presence through marketing channels, access to business advice from local experts, train and upskill through courses and workshops, and providing advice and contacts to do business locally, nationally or globally.
The voice of the business community, the team at the Chamber of Commerce are committed to making local business easier, better, stronger – and more fun.
Tauranga Chamber of Commerce is part of the New Zealand Chamber Network, which consists of 30 Chambers nationwide, as well as the International Chambers of Commerce.
